A private, multi-dwelling property designed for relaxed coastal stays in the heart of Byron Bay. Suitable for couples, families and group stays, with a focus on indoor-outdoor living and considered, understated premium interiors.

A heritage renovation and extension of a Queen Anne Victorian residence in Hunters Hill, integrating new build elements with the restoration of original features.

Hospitality

The East Village Hotel

Balmain East

A hospitality acquisition and transformation project involving the repositioning, renovation and long-term operation of a neighbourhood hotel in Balmain East.

The project combined hospitality, interiors, branding and operational restructuring to re-establish the venue as a recognised local destination, balancing warmth, character and community connection with commercial performance.

Project scope:

Acquisition and operational leadership
Renovation of exterior and interior, including facade, dining areas, bar and courtyard
Development and restructuring of management team and operational systems
Establishment of events and functions as a core revenue stream
Brand, marketing and customer experience strategy
Ongoing ownership and operation over eight years, including COVID navigation and post-pandemic rebuild

Outcome:

Over eight years, the venue became recognised for its atmosphere, food and beverage offering and neighbourhood identity.

Recognised as a finalist in multiple Australian Hotel Industry Awards and Women’s Small Business Awards, awarded one glass in the Australian Wine List of the Year Awards 2024, and sold in 2025

A private residential project involving the substantial reconstruction and reconfiguration of an existing house, with the addition of a new wing, an additional level and pool.

The project brings together architecture, interiors and landscape, with a focus on connection to a harbourside environment within a dense urban setting, indoor–outdoor flow and natural materiality.
